Letter # 10

Ni Hao Family.
Okay so transfers have come around and I am still in the same area. Right outside of Taipei. But I have a new companion. He is coming home in just a couple of transfers. I just met him today so I don't know much about him. He seems a little out of control but we will see. I am super excited for this next transfer. We have a lot of new incoming investigators and a lot of hope for that. It's a little scary because I kind of have to show my new companion around and lead him around the area for the first week or so. Ya I am not ready to be in control of anything. Plus, he doesn't really know the people we have been teaching or anything so that will be hard for the first little bit. Things are really picking up though.
The last couple weeks were rough but through a lot of prayer I got through it. I am really loving being out here serving. I get more and more appreciative of the work every week. I love it.
Well I have like no time to write. But this week I am not sharing a scripture. But giving you my testimony of hymns. Hymns have so much power. Especially when your going through hard times. Whenever I am riding my bike I try to sing a hymn. It always lightens the load. I especially like Abide with me tis Eventide.
READ THE LYRICS:
Abide with me; 'tis eventide.
The day is past and gone;
The shadows of the evening fall;
The night is coming on.
Within my heart a welcome guest,
Within my home abide.

[Chorus]
O Savior, stay this night with me;
Behold, 'tis eventide.
O Savior, stay this night with me;
Behold, 'tis eventide.

Abide with me; 'tis eventide.
Thy walk today with me
Has made my heart within me burn,
As I communed with thee.
Thy earnest words have filled my soul
And kept me near thy side.

Abide with me; 'tis eventide,
And lone will be the night
If I cannot commune with thee
Nor find in thee my light.
The darkness of the world, I fear,
Would in my home abide.

I love you all so much - gotta run!
